Ambulance MAST

Take off from a pineapple field on Oahu.
When flying over much of Oahu, you notice that the roads and driveways are stained red. You can see why in this photo. That red dust turns to red mud in the almost daily rain on central Oahu. Kimberly would go crazy trying to keep our floors and carpets clean (one thing she didn't miss when we left Oahu). I lost all of my hair (see the pictures) trying to keep our van and truck clean here. I gave up on the rugs and finally just put rubber mats over every inch of carpet in both vehicles. If you come to vacation here, you will find clothing stores that sell the "Original Hawaiian Red Dirt Shirt". You could buy a white shirt and just rub it around in some mud next to the road to save some money.
