Hurry and take the picture so we can go home.
Getting ready to go home from the Big Island.
The photographer was from The Learning Channel. He rode along with us over the North Shores of Hawaii, Maui, and Molokai on this day. Unfortunately, the video he shot did not appear on the show about Queens Hospital on October 6th, 1998. It was a good show called "Trouble in Paradise". The show contained some footage of the 68th Med helicopters and personnel performing some actual missions on Oahu. It's still on The Learning Channel occasionally.

From left to right in this picture are crew chiefs Ken Saladaga and Charles Brill, me, flight medics Nina Todd and Mike Davis, and co-pilot Mike Hackworth. At least four of the six people above are now civilians. I belive only Mike Hackworth and Charles Brill are still in the Army. If anyone knows where any of these people are, let me know.

Sep 2000 - Note: Ken Saladaga is now working in Germany for DynCorp as a Blackhawk mechanic on an Army contract.

Oct 2000 - Update: Mike Hackworth called me. His email is updated if you click his name on this page. He's at Ft. Hood, TX and still fighting the Army for the right to live like a human being and spend some time with his family.

We're outta here!
