Driving across the ocean.
This was our trip out to the North Carolina Outer Banks. It was overcast and rainy so we lost sight of land right away. It's a 2 hour and 10 minute ride out to sea, but then you drive back to the mainland on a bridge at the other end of the island. It's worth seeing.
