It is located in the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston, Massachusetts. The history of John Ross of Malden starts on page 3100. The connection with other Ross's is not known. The difficulty is caused by the fact that there were 3 persons named 'John Ross' in that same load of prisoners.
John was a Scottish soldier captured in the final battle of the British War. He was brought over to the colonies and sold as an indentured worker to a Thomas Kemble of Charlestown in the spring of 1652.More About JOHN ROSS:

ROSS, JOSEPH was an early settler where R. E. Caswell now lives. He built and run a grist mill there for many years,
it being the second mill in town. But very few now living, can remember the old mill, which was a very rude structure.
Joseph Ross died in town, at a very old age, leaving several children, of whom are Joseph, Jr., Jesse, Amos and
Mary. Joseph, Jr. m. Hanuah Nichols and finally settled in St. Lawrence County, N. Y.
