Alonzo Strobeck Brewerton, 90

Alonzo B. Strobeck, 90, of Young Road, Brewerton, a retired farmer, died yesterday in his home.

Born in the Town of Clay, Mr. Strobeck had lived on Young Road for 24 years.

He was a 50-year member of the Brewerton and Pomona granges.

He was a member of West Monroe Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Effie Burdick Strobeck; a son, Carl of Marcy; two daughters, Mrs. Winifred Avery of Cleveland and Mrs. Marie Collins of Brewerton; three brothers, Myron of Ballston Spa, Ernest of Macedon and Leon Strobeck of North Syracuse; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, the Rev. Edwin A. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Union Settlement Cemetery.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today.
