A host of friends assembled in Maple Flats yesterday to pay their last tribute of respect to
Arminda Skinner, wife of Ralph Armstrong, the close of whose young life brought sincere sorrow
and regret to everyone who knew her. Mrs. Armstrong died Sunday morning at one o'clock. Death
was due to tuberculosis, form which she had suffered, bravely, patiently, for about a year.
Arminda Skinner was the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Justin R. Skinner of this town. She
was born in Utica October 14, 1900, but practically all of her life had been spent in Camden.
She was a graduate of Camden High School, Class of 1921, and immedidately after on June 29, 1921,
became the bride of Mr. Armstrong. She was a member of the Methodist church, the Camden Grange
and Order of the Eastern Star of Camden. Mrs. Armstrong was greatly beloved and esteemed, and
her death is a severe blow to the family circle and to those who knew her best.
Besides her husband and her parents she is survived by a sister Miss Ella Skinner of Camden and
a brother, Rufus, who is attending school in Detroit, Mich. The bereaved have the sympathy of
the community in their great loss.
The funeral was held from her late home at 2 o'clock yesterday, and burial in Maple Flats.
