Charles Carleton, a prominent farmer residing on the Mexico street, died of peritonitis Monday afternoon. Mr. Carleton leaves two children, William and Ella to mourn his death; also two brothers John R. and James Carleton, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Price, all of this town. Mr. Carlton was born in Ireland 77 years ago, and came to this country when young. The funeral will be held from the home at 10:30 Friday morning. Rev. C. J. Lambert to officiate.
