Mrs. Clarissa A. Suits

VERNON -- Mrs. Clarissa A. Suits, 100, of 5562 Ottman Rd., died early Saturday morning, Dec. 13,
1997, at Rome Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Suits was born May 14, 1897, in Cleveland, N. Y., daughter of James and Ida Rice Armstrong.
She was educated in Maple Flats, and married Walter Suits in 1922. Mr. Suits died in 1957. Mrs.
Suits was a member of the United Methodist Church of Vernon.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Marilyn Suits of Vernon, one daughter, Cora
S. Balmat of Biloxi, MS, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs.
Suits was predeceased by a son, Llewellyn Suits and a daughter, Marjorie White.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Malecki Funeral Home, Inc., 23 Front
St., corner on N. Sconondoa St., Vernon. Burial will be in McConnellsville Cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In Mrs. Suits' memory,
contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Vernon. Envelopes will be available
at the funeral home.
