Mrs. Doris Kozma, 77, of 6909 Stanwix Ave., retired secretary for Mechanics Educational Society of America, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 1990, in Rome Hospital after being stricken at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Kozma was employed at the regional office of MESA for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
Born April 4, 1912, in Westmoreland, she was a daughter of Amos and Jennie Wilkinson Armstrong. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and Utica School of Commerce. On June 30, 1937, she married James Kozma in Rome. Mrs. Kozma was also employed as secretary/treasurer of Dorko Photo Craft Corp. since 1954.
Mrs. Kozma was a Protestant.
Surviving besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Hazel Reese, Rome; two brothers, Raymond Armstrong, Williamsville, and Roy Armstrong, Rome.
Services will be held at the Strong and Burns Funeral Home 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Mohawk Valley Branch, 301 Bleecker St., Utica, 13501.
