CAMDEN - Earle B. Loevenguth, 85, Florence Hill Road, a retired employee of Rome Cable, died
Monday in Rome Hospital after a long illness.
He was born December 30, 1889, in Camden, son of George J. and Susan Pilkington Loevenguth. He
graduated from Camden High School and Utica Business College. On July 14, 1917, Mr. Loevenguth
married Dorothy H. Fish in Clinton.
Mr. Loevenguth retired from Rome Caable in 1956. He also had been employed by the F. H. Conaut
Chair Factory, Camden.
He was a member of the United Church of Camden (Presbyterian) and a former member of its Board of
Trustees. He was also a member of the Camden Volunteer Fire Department and in 1930 was Camden
Village Clerk and Camden Water Board Clerk.
Besides his wife, Mr. Loevenguth leaves a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Mary) Cleveland, Camden, a son,
Wilson E. Loevenguth, New Hartfort, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service was held Wednesday at the convenience of the family. Burial was in
Forest Park, Camden. Arrangements were by the Sanborn Funeral Home.
