Services Are Held For E. J. Armstrong

Funeral services for Edward Armstrong, 56, who died suddenly October 1 at his home on the Dunbar Road, were held Monday at the B.A. Sanborn & Son funeral home with the Rev. W.H. Bradley officiating. Interment was made in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Armstrong was born in East Florence, Oct. 23, 1886, a son of Jay and Cora Lobdell Armstrong. In Utica on Aug. 17, 1907, he married Lottie Hilliker and had since lived in the Town of Camden. He attended the Methodist Church.

Surviving besides his widow are five children Carl, Lindy and Burl Armstrong and Mrs. Walter Douglas, Camden, and Cpl. Hugh O. Armstrong, Tampa Fla.; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Armstrong, Camden; and three sisters, Mrs. Dave Hiltbrand, Syracuse; Miss Catharine Armstrong, Syracuse; and Mrs. Elmer Howland, Camden.
