MRS. ELLA A. EGGAN EXPIRES AT AGE 75

TABERG, Sept. 6 -- Mrs. Ella Jane Armstrong Eggan, 75, widow of David Eggan, died on Friday morning at her home, 105 N. Jay St. Rome, after having been in failing health for some time.

Born July 25, 1870, in Annsville, the daughter of David and Ella Jane Richards Armstrong, she was married June 2, 1899 in Amsterdam.

Mrs. Eggan had been confined to her bed for the past two weeks. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are six children all of Rome; three sons, F. Lynn, John D. and Floyd J. Eggan; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Gregory, Mrs. William I. Saunders and Mrs. John A. Robinson; two sisters, Mrs. George C. Peglow, of Rome, and Mrs. Minnie A. Stage, Taberg, two brothers, James and David Armstrong, both of Taberg; four grandchildren, William I. Saunders, Jr., stationed at Hobbs Army Air Base, N. Mex.; Charlotte Lynn and Carol Ann Eggan, and John D. Eggan, Jr. all of Rome.
