Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Florence E. Rush of Hillsboro, Ill. Mrs. Rush
was formerly Miss Florence Voorhees of this village. She passed away Tuesday, May 24th, at
11:30 p.m. at the age of 63 years and 7 months. The funeral services were held at 2:30
Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church of Hillsboro and interment was made at Oak Grove
cemetery. Besides her husband, C.P. Rush, she leaves a brother, Fred A. Voorhees of New York
City, to mourn her departure.
