Rome, April 20 -- Byron Hannay died Sunday afternoon at the Rome Hospital of pneumonia after a week's illness. He was born in the town of Annsville 61 years ago and always lived there till he came to Rome 12 years ago. In Annsville he married Louisa Whitford, who died there 14 years ago. Surviving are two sons and three daughters, George of Annsville and Leonard of Minnesota, Mrs. Fred Sollitt and Mrs. Thomas Connors of this city and Miss Eva Hannay of Mexico, N.Y.; also two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Cyrus Simmons of California and Mrs. Lucenia Stanford of Camden, Miles of Minnesota and David of Canastota.
