Mrs. Ida D. Myers, 77, of 6663 Golf Course Road, who lived in Rome all her life, died Thursday, June 3, 1982, in Rome Hospital after a long illness.
Born on June 2, 1905, in Rome, she was the daughter of Jonas S. and Jessie Clark Armstrong. She married William F. Myers on Feb. 13, 1935, in Rome.
Mrs. Myers was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the auxiliary of the Town of Western American Legion Post, and the auxiliary to the Fort Stanwix Veterans of World War I Post.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Joan F.) Guglielmo, Collinsville, Ill.; two sons, Russell S. Myers Sr., Port Leyden, and William M. Myers, Rome; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
