Funeral Conducted For James W. O'Brien

CLEVELAND -- James W. O'Brien of Cleveland died Dec. 8, 1957, in Oneida City Hospital where he had been a patient since the previous Tuesday.

He was born in Redfield May 4, 1883. As a child he lived with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick O'Brien. Later he moved with them to Camden.

On Sept. 10, 1904, he married Pearl R. Swanson of Camden and they lived on Wolcott Hill in that village until eight years ago, when they moved to Cleveland.

While in Camden Mr. O'Brien was employed by F.H. Conant's Sons chair factory, and later by the Rochester Shoe Tree Co. After moving to Cleveland he was employed by Lee Mfg. Co. of Canastota.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Cleveland.

He leaves his wife, two aunts, Mrs. Margaret Reagan and Mrs. Catherine Coleman, both of Rome, and several cousins.

Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Church, Camden, and burial was in the church cemetery.

J. Floyd Smith was in charge of arrangements.

Bearers were Francis E. Regan, Philip P. Regan, Leo B. Regan, John Parry, John W. Regan, Rome; Fred Converse, Cleveland.
