WILSON -- In Camden, on the 25th inst. Mr. John Wilson, aged 62 years.
The deceased had been quite out of health for about three weeks, but he was able to be around his house most of the time. On the evening of his death, he was able to be at the tea table with his family. Soon after, he read a portion of Scripture and prayed with his family, and in a few moments appeared to feel faint. His wife attempted to get him to the bed, but he sank down almost helpless, and with difficulty he was got onto the bed, and Medical aid obtained, but in a short time his spirit took its flight to that God who gave it.
Mr. Wilson was born in Camden and has here resided all his days. He was a quiet, and honored citizen, highly esteemed by all who knew him. A kind husband an affectionate and indulgent father and a true friend. From his early childhood he had ben religious. When only 12 years of age he connected himself with the Church of God, and continued in its fellowship an honored member until the Master called him home. He leaves a wife and three children, together with a large circle of relatives to mourn his loss. May a kind Heavenly Father sustain them.
