Miss Lena Mae Price died at the home of her parents on Mexico St. this morning at about five o'clock, after a short illness of diphtheria. She was taken sick Sunday with a complication of quinsy and diphtheria. Her case quickly developed into a serious form. She was an intense sufferer for 48 hours before her death, and during the night went into convulsions.
Two mild cases of diphtheria at the Price home are convalescing.
Miss Lena Price was born in Camden January 3, 1892 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Price and always lived in this town, where she attended the village school. Miss Price had many friends and it is with much sorrow that they learn of her death. The burial will take place this afternoon with Rev. Ashley officiating at the grave.
She is survived besides her grief-stricken parents, by two brothers, Charles and George, both of Camden. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.
