Lila Murphy Strobeck, 90, of Church Street, North Syracuse, died Monday at her home.
A native of Hastings, Mrs. Strobeck lived in North Syracuse more than 60 year. She attended Syracuse University and was a graduate of Oswego Normal School. Mrs. Strobeck retired as a teacher from the Central Square School District.
She was the widow of Leon Strobeck, founder of Strobeck (now Sears-Middleton) Funeral Home, North Syracuse and of Strobeck Insurance Agency.
She was a member of North Syracuse Baptist Church and Centerville Chapter 185, OES.
Surviving are six daughters, Harriet Rose of Liverpool, Marie Brown of Central Square, Laura Arthur and Carol Brann, both of North Syracuse, Kathleen Sales of Isle Lamotte, VT., and Beverly Weaver of Mattydale; two sons, Donald of Parish and Harwood of Cambridge; a sister, Clara Mount of Fulton; 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 209 N. Main St.
