BLOSSVALE -- Mrs. Sarah Armstrong, 35, wife of Jesse Armstrong, died this morning at the Rose Hospital, Rome.
She was born Feb. 13, 1922 in Deer River, N.Y., the daughter of Leon C. and Mary B. Taylor Kidney. She was married to Mr. Armstrong in Lorraine. She had resided here since her marriage.
Mrs. Armstrong attended the Blossvale Union Chapel, and was a 4-H Club leader.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Sheila and Rose Marie, at home; two sons, Charles B., and Paul W. Armstrong, also at home; her mother, Mrs. Mary Kidney, Blossvale, three sisters, Mrs. Clinton Meister, Carthage; Mrs. Bernice Jones, Copenhagen, and Mrs. Eugene Howard, Blossvale; two brothers, Glenn Plopper, Carthage and Leon Kidney, Blossvale.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the B. A. Sanborn and Son Funeral Home, Camden, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday at their convenience.
