Stuart M. Armstrong, 40, 37 E. Drive, Wright Park, died suddenly in his home at 2:30 a.m. today.
Born March 19, 1907, in Rome, he was the son of J. Stuart and Jessie Clark Armstrong. On Feb. 27, 1930, he married the former Miss Pearl Worden, who survives.
Mr. Armstrong was educated in Rome schools. he had been employed by Rome Cable Corp. as a sparker for nine years, previously having been employed by General Cable Corp. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving besides his wife and parents are six daughters, Lois L., 16; Eileen J., 13; Janice C. 10; Sandra A., 8; Patricia J., 6; and Donna M., 3; two sons, Robert P., 15; and Ronald D., 1; two sisters, Mrs. William Myers and Mrs. Howard Sloper, both of Rome; several nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts and uncles.
ARMSTRONG -- November 17, 1947, in this city, Stuart M. Armstrong, age 40 years. Funeral will be held from the Martin J. Nunn funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
