The <B>NCHOF</B> is a serious site devoted to those of us who love to wear caps, collect caps, and yearn for caps. Yes, it can be a sickness. To paraphrase Will Rogers, <I>"I've never met a cap I didn't like."</I> Perhaps a nice sweaty, molded one. Caps are here for us to wear and, in recent years, are becoming as much a status symbol as something to cover the 'noggin' on bad hair days. For some, they are always our friend on NO HAIR days  which can be permanent, in the case of male pattern baldness. Enough of this falderah.<P> You ask, <I>"why would anyone want to spend the time and effort to start such a project?"</I> Good question.
