This year was the first
Christmas that we spent at Nicole and Brians. It was such a wonderful day. We
had all of the family's there with Brian's parents, Mike's parents and all of us. Of
course I did my usual spoiling of the Grandkids with to many gifts, but hey you only live
once and only have the greatest grandkids once in a lifetime. Right now I only have
two Grandson, Cory and Alex but someday hope to have more..(hint hint kids) For
Christmas this year Frank got me a new Digital camera that is by far the greatest camera
around. I was able to take some great shots of all of us..The dinner this year
(Lasagna of course) was prepared by Kim this year. I must say she out did herself.
She made so much that everyone was able to take some home with them and still had
some leftover. I think it took her all day to make as much as she did. Nicole
on the other hand was the lucky one to fix all the family breakfast. Boy what a task
that was. She prepared fried patatoes with ham, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange
juice, and coffee. Have to say haven't had that good of breakfast in a long
time. As you can see my daughters know I hate cooking so I got a reprieve this year.
I am very lucky to have such great cooks.
This year has to be the year of the great
gifts. We all got some pretty wonderful things that I would like to list a few for
each person. Grandson first. Cory received a new Bike, new roller blades and
his biggest surprise from his mom and Mike was his new Dirt Bike . At first he
missed it when he came down the stairs, but as soon as he saw I swear he almost fainted.
He jumped in Mike's arms hugged him and the two of them had tears in their eyes.
It was a very sweet monent for us all. As for Alex he got a new Bike
also from Santa, new roller blades, and his most favorite things POKEMON cards and
game. He really wanted pokemom stuff as he kept reminding us all. They both
received lots of clothes and way to many toys. ( Santa must have thought they were
really good this year)..
The girls were spoiled as well as their
sons. One of the sweetest monents for me was when Nicole opened her gift from her
sister. She had gotten her a photo album with pictures of the two of them through
the years and with it came a poem Kim wrote about how they have always been there for each
other. Had Nicole reduced to tears while she looked at all the pictures.
The presents were way to many but I have
to admit it was a wonderful Christmas for all. From a CD writer to a new photo printer and
new digital camera, new bikes and roller blades and loads and loads of clothes. Ok
here are a few pictures I took with my new camera..
