Homeschool Catalogs

Below you will find a list of catalogs. I recommend getting one catalog of each. You will find a lot of helpful information in many of the small homeschool family catalogs (Timberdoodle for example).

A Beka - Largely known among homeschoolers and private schools. You can order packages through this company (although I personally don't recommend getting the big packages, especially the video programs).

Beautiful Feet Books - A great resource for history using "real" books to learn history the fun way.

Bob Jones University (BJU) - Another well known curriculum supplier.

Elijah Company - I have enjoyed this catalog a great deal. It has a lot of great advice along with their selection of materials.

Greek 'N Stuff - Not a catalog, but you can request an information packet. Here is where you can find HEY ANDREW, TEACH ME SOME GREEK. The learner is introduced to Greek and Latin. The website has some examples to give you an idea if this might be for your child.

Greenleaf Press - This catalog offers guidance in teaching history and has a great selection.
Home Training Tools - A friend of mine told me about this one and I want to pass it on. It can be difficult to find great science tools. Here is one place to find what you need from dissecting tools to books and microscopes. They have affordable prices. No need to order a large quantity. That makes them unique.

Keepers Of The Faith - A great program for children with families or for churches. Similar to 4-H or Scouts.

Math - U - See - offers manipulative math curriculum.

Saxon Math - A great source. My oldest son is using Saxon math and it's been great. I had heard only great things about Saxon math and am glad we tried it. We plan to continue to use it.

Sycamore Tree -

Timberdoodle - This one is great. They offer suggestions and very interesting material. When I have to order something, I often choose to order from Timberdoodle.

Tobin's Lab - Another great science resource started by a homeschool family

Whole Heart Catalog A new one.
