July 1997-Present	
Raytheon Systems Company, Greenville, Texas - Systems Administrator/PC Support Technician
	
* UNIX Administrator for one manufacturing domain, including six servers running HP-UX 10.2, one server running HP-UX 10.1, four servers running HP-UX 9.07, and two servers running RH Linux 6.1.
* Perform maintenance and repair of HP hardware including SCSI and network related issues.
* Develop and modify applications to fit customer needs, as new requirements are determined GUI development tools.
* Installed and setup Linux 5.2/6.0/6.1 servers to co-exist in a HP-UNIX domain, and an NT domain, utilizing file and print shares provided by Samba.
* Write HP-UX Posix scripts to update routine tasks and to monitor current server processes.
* Perform HP-UX system installs and maintenance on systems currently running  NIS, DNS, NFS, and the Automounter.
* Presently working to increase scripting knowledge and configuration of the Apache Web Server.
	
* Windows NT Administrator for five operations and manufacturing domains including ten servers 
with Intel processors running Windows NT 3.51/4.0 and two servers with Alpha processors running Windows NT 4.0.	
* Designed, developed, and integrated a web based Intranet application to query an MS Access database, utilizing ASP and VBScript.
* Installed, configured, and administered a cluster of two Alpha servers running Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise Edition with Microsoft Cluster Server. Provides failover for Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 databases, file shares, and IIS 3.0 services.	
* Coordinate with Computer Information Services developers and support personnel to forecast future development and support.  
* Collect hardware/software quotes, advise management on technical issues, and provide information to budget coordinators.
* Manage file/printer shares, install desktop/server software and hardware, and support in-house applications developed by Computer Information Services group.
* Designed, developed, and integrated in-house software applications using Microsoft SQL, Access, and Visual Basic to automate and optimize manufacturing processes.
* Perform timely desktop support for IBM compatible PC's including software and hardware support running Windows NT Workstation and numerous other miscellaneous applications.
