James Twyman, author of 'Emissary of Light' will perform
'The Peace Concert' for refugees on the border of Kosovo
and Macedonia on Saturday April 10,1999. At 16.00 GMT
(12pm New York, 5pm UK, etc) millions of people worldwide
will join him in prayer, sending this important message
to the world--
Prayer is more powerful than any weapon, any airstrike and
any ethnic assault. We have the ability to end this crisis,
but only if we do it together.
In 1998 we experienced the power of prayer many times,
especially in the healing of international conflicts.
In February, Peace Troubadour James Twyman was invited to
Iraq at a time war seemed unavoidable. Millions
prayed at the same time he performed on national Iraqi
television, and three days later the peace accord was signed.
A week later Twyman was invited to sing at Stormont Castle
in Belfast and once again millions joined him in prayer.
Three days later a breakthrough occured in the talks that
allowed the leaders of the political parties to sign the
peace accord a month ahead of schedule. On November 13,
James Twyman, Gregg Braden and Doreen Virtue sponsored a
world prayer vigil called 'There is Nothing to Fear.'
During the vigil President Clinton ordered US jets to
begin bombing Iraq. Three hours later, before a single
missile was fired, he unexpectedly ordered them to stand
down--twice.
The situation in Kosovo is desperate. The airstrikes have
failed and we find ourselves at the brink of an escalating
war. It is time for us to step forward and activate the most
powerful force in our spiritual armory--prayer. Join millions
of people on April 10th and help bring peace to Kosovo and
Serbia.
James Twyman has allowed a portion on his new yet to be
published book entitled 'The Secret Order of the Beloved
Disciple' to be printed on the following web page
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~pbc/twyman
These few pages outline the spiritual importance of Kosovo as well
as the esoteric history of this troubled area. We recommend that
everyone read this information in order to gain a deeper insight
into this conflict.
When praying for peace at this or any time we recommend that
you simply 'feel' the experience of peace and harmony, then
ask for that feeling to be applied to the desired area of the
world. In other words do not pray for the bombing to end, or
for Serbia to retreat. It is the feeling of peace that works
the magic, not the thought. We do not claim to know the solution.
We simply ask to be used as instruments of peace, and to let our
light shine where it is most needed. If words are needed say
something like 'Peace prevails now in Kosovo and Serbia.' Then
feel the presence of peace in that area, say thank you, and end
your prayer.
May Peace Prevail on Earth and in Kosovo!
(James Twyman is scheduled to fly to Skopja, Macedonia, at the end
of the week. If he cannot reach his destination he will focus the energy
with prayer wherever he is.)
