The Ultimate Unification Theory
|
Most people, when asked if they would prefer to live a life of war, conflict, strife, poverty, degradation, fear and outside control, or instead experience love, peace, abundance, harmony, personal growth, self respect and inner empowerment would firmly choose the latter. There would be little or no hesitation in their replies, as the second alternative would so clearly seem to be the only one worth considering. And yet somehow, despite all our good words and supposed intentions, this nurturing state of peaceful harmony is still not the state of life experienced by the vast majority of the human race, when viewed globally. Why not, when the choice between the two would seem to be so obvious? Because, as you are no doubt already thinking, its one thing to say that this idyllic state is what we want, but its quite a different matter when it comes to actually achieving it. If one were to then ask, So how do YOU think this state of global peace can be achieved? the proffered solutions would probably be as diverse as there are stars in the galaxy. But two main points would start to emerge. Firstly, most suggestions would start with the words THEY should............, and secondly the majority would believe that there was little that they, as an individual, could do to affect global change. And therein would seem to lie the nub of the problem or as we now prefer to call it the challenge. We, meaning present day humanity, simply do not know HOW to create what we want, and this is because the vast majority of our global population, particularly those of the often mis-termed civilised world, no longer fully understand the dynamics of how the act of creation, or rather co-creation, works. Once upon a time, in the periods we now call the Golden Ages, we quite obviously did, as the very name implies. Evidence still exists in some of the earliest known records such as the Indian Vedas, of the state of perfection once commonly experienced in daily life. A fanciful myth, or a long lost reality? The optimist in me would say that it was once both our individual and group reality, and can be so again, once we have first remembered, and then chosen to live by the universal laws and principles of creation. Optimist desiring to become realist. Those of us who have already opted to participate in this grand experiment of living a more spiritually motivated life, whilst at the same time being very much a part of the ordinary, every day material world - in the world, but not of the world - will have already seen the positive effects of living in accordance with these Natural Laws, or going with the flow as we sometimes term it. But to what extent are we consciously aware of the exact nature of those Laws, and how the dynamic process of manifestation actually occurs, in accordance with those Laws, or Divine Will? The process starts in the realm of pure, unbounded thought. From this vast ocean of bliss; undefined, unlimited consciousness; the seat of all potentiality, enlivened and vibrating with the energy of divine, unconditional love, emerges the first, primary, creative conscious thought - I Am. From this one thought, all other thoughts arise. As these thoughts become more defined, they change in their frequency or vibrational rate (whilst still retaining at their essence the original motivational thought or pattern), until this rate has slowed to a point where it becomes an in-audible sound - the pure sound of divine creation - the Nam, Name or Word. At first, whilst still vibrating at this finest level, this supersonic or infra level of sound, whilst widely sensed by animals, can only be interpreted by human beings by attuning to and focusing the inner, supranormal senses, or third eye; but further on in this process of manifestation, the inaudible becomes audible, so that again with fine tuning it can be heard with the outer perception of hearing. Then finally, as its frequency slows still further, we start to see (i.e. interpret the vibrating fields of light energy) through our eyes the physical manifestation of the ideal thought - the 3D supposedly solid object of that primary thought - the Word made flesh. The ancient Vedic (Veda meaning pure knowledge) teachings have always upheld the remembrance of the essential connection between these three stages, thought - sound - object, calling them rishi, devata and chandas, generally translated as the Knower, the process of Knowing, and the Known or object of Knowing. Today, in the branch of physics known as Quantum Physics (the study of particles of Light and their behaviour) it is acknowledged that the thoughts of the observer can influence the movement of these sub-atomic or light particles. In fact outside influence can most easily be brought to bear at this finest of levels, whilst the particles are moving at their fastest rate or speed of light, hence the effectiveness of many forms of energy healing which act at the pre-manifested level. The ancient Vedic pandits also recognised that in the most ancient, pure languages, such as Sanskrit, there is this vital connection between the name of the object, and the actual object itself. This also explains the power of chanting or even simply thinking, whilst in a deeply meditative coherent state, certain mantras or sacred words. (for more information please see "Further references") Because we have all but lost the understanding of the vital connection between these differing stages in manifestation, we have grossly underestimated the power of unconditional love, as experienced within a form such as meditation or unconditional prayer, as a means of changing our physical or perceived world, what we commonly term our reality. Ask the average man or woman in the street if they think that love can change the world, and they will see this as no more than a romantic ideal, because they are unaware of the science underlying the process. Yet in recent years, many experiments have been done which clearly and unequivocally demonstrate that group meditations DO indeed have a positive, measurable effect upon our physical reality. The Transcendental Meditation movement, for instance, have conducted many such experiments from the late 1970's onwards; during the Lebanese war, the Bosnian conflict, and more recently in Washington DC; using totally independent, outside agencies and statisticians to monitor these effects. In over 500 studies, involving 214 independent research institutions, they repeatedly demonstrated that when a group of people simultaneously meditate together on a twice daily basis over a period of time, thus enlivening the group consciousness at the profoundest unified field level, the results of this positively balanced stimulation can actually be measured in certain key areas such as weather, stock exchange, crime rates, public opinion polls on current issues etc. An interesting fact also to emerge in all of this is that the meditators were not consciously affirming one particular outcome or set of conditions, but were purely linking into and experiencing their own centre of inner peace and balance, thus re-activating and confirming their own personal connection to the greater whole, this unified field of cosmic consciousness. They were, if you like, both expressing and resonating with pure unconditional (without conditions) love, knowing that the outcome would quite naturally and effortlessly be in accordance with Divine Will. The Great Experiment of 1997 similarly encouraged millions of people worldwide, of all religions and philosophical backgrounds, to simultaneously meditate, with no expressed intention other than that of connecting to the divine within us all. In this way individuals can realise their own personal power and ability to positively effect an outcome that is at the same time both upholding and nurturing to the individual, and to the greater whole - the win/win situation of the Master.
Loving the Self back into the Wholeness of One; One divine consciousness, throughout all of Creation, Living in the Creators Light, in peace and harmony with All. To be truly effective, this process of creating peace and harmony for all must be sought through inner, personal integration with the divine within, commencing with each individual going within, effecting change firstly on the personal level, integrating that change into ones thoughts and actions, that is BE-COMING first what you would wish others to become, rather than separating away from the process by looking for the results of change outside of oneself, and blaming the non-existent THEM when inevitably this does not occur. As a first step towards overcoming this mainly illusory perception of separation, why not try this simple exercise? Next time that you are watching the News or reading the papers, and are tempted to judge the current situation of conflict in one part of the world or another, try substituting the phrase I, or an aspect of myself, is doing this rather than the usual Look at what they are doing, and just look and see then how you feel and react; observe how your feelings become more tolerant, compassionate and understanding, as you start to dissolve this illusion of separation between I and Them. This is one of the reasons why we are all constantly being encouraged to first develop these positive, loving feelings towards ourselves, because this process of change starts from within, and then radiates outwards, through our thoughts and feelings towards others. In order to achieve global peace, ( and by this I mean true, lasting peace as when we are living in harmony with the laws of nature, and not simply the absence of open conflict), it is only necessary that 1% of the population first establish peace within themselves, and so in their actions and dealings towards others. Once firmly established within the 1%, this accumulation of the individual state then powerfully radiates outwards, like ripples on a pond, by what is sometimes termed as the 100th. monkey effect throughout the immediate group consciousness, so making it easier for others to perceive and feel this effect in their own lives, until this eventually becomes not only our own personal experience, but also our globally shared state of consciousness. When we more fully understand and appreciate the real power of both our individual and collective thoughts, then we are more willing and able to make changes within those thoughts and perceptions. Statements such as Love will heal the world are no longer seen as being no more than airy-faerie romanticism, but a logical statement of concrete fact. Have we ever, truly given Love a chance? How often have we said these words, and then changed our attitudes, falling once more back into fear as soon as it came to the real world? When will we learn to trust our power to love, and live by the One Law of God/Goddessence - Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and love thy neighbour as thyself? This is to illuminate the Christ Consciousness within us all, and be guided by that Light and Love. So, having established the how of creation - from pure thought arises the sound, and then the object or manifestation, we come again to the question - which thought? Put in its most basic state, the choice lies between love and fear, as we know already that all subsequent states arise from these two polarities. Obviously we would prefer to experience the former rather than the latter. But there is also another validation for the preference of this choice, upheld once again in the realm of the physical sciences. The Meissner Effect states that A universal principle in Nature is that internally coherent systems possess the ability to repel external influences, whilst incoherent systems are easily penetrated by disorder from outside. The energy of Love promotes this unity and coherence, whilst fear produces the very opposite resulting in division and disharmony. Unconditional Love is not simply an emotion, it is the most powerful of creative energies, being in total alignment with this creative principle, and producing as it does a coherent, harmonising effect, its creations will exist eternally, as opposed to that which is created from fear and disorder, and can only ever be transitory in nature. Perhaps it does take the realm of physics to finally prove to our rational minds the power of thought, before we start to listen to and appreciate what the Ancients have always taught. However, we have a unique opportunity with the approaching millennium to both individually and collectively visualise the type of world that we wish to create for ourselves in the Age to come. I find it fascinating how we have become so focused upon this, in many ways, totally artificial date of the year 2000. Logic tells us that since there is no year 0, the new millennium will not in fact start until the year 2001. Add to this the realisation that with the many adjustments to the western Roman Calendar, including that of Gregory XIII in 1582, we are now some 6 years past the actual year of 2000 AD. We in the West also choose to largely ignore all the other, equally valid, calendars also in operation around the world. But still this date holds a magical attraction for us! Why? Because it is WE who have caused and created it to BE so, by the power of our collective consciousness. So why not then fully use this time as an opportunity to positively focus our thoughts and feelings into what we truly wish to create, expressing our personal divine power, affirming our Christ Consciousness, rather than being ruled by feelings of fear and separation as promoted in so much of the media? Let us once and for all give the power of Love a real chance to demonstrate the changes that it can bring about in our world. We have nothing to loose, and an eternity to gain.
