Allen Franks was called to serve as the second counselor in the Langley Ward Bishopric in early 1998. Serving in this calling is a familiar roll for brother Franks having been a member of the Great Falls Ward Bishopric two times in the past. Allen and his wife Karen have four children --2 boys and 2 girls. Their oldest daughter is married and has one child of her own. The other three children are university students. Brother Franks moved from Idaho to the DC area when he entered dental school at George Town University. Growing-up sister Franks lived mostly in Oregon and Virginia.
