Dean - Richardson Cemetery
			   Dale County Alabama


This cemetery is located on the Sammons Road in Dale County, Alabama. 
Proceed from the city of Ariton on Alabama Highway 51 North to County Road 72
(Evergreen Road.) Turn right (east) and travel 1.6 miles to a fork, make a right
turn onto Sammons Road; drive .6 of a mile to the cemetery which is on the left side 
and slightly off the highway. All graves within the confines of this cemetery are
listed below.

There are three marked but unnamed graves in the northeastern corner of the cemetery. 
This is an indication that they were close and trusted slaves.
The story that is told is that all three died of Scarlet Fever at about the same time.
