Biography:
James Masters, b. 1796 in New Jersey, married Nancy M. Peck.
We don't know anything about this couple, we traced their son Andrew Jackson
back and found him with his parents on the 1850 Washington County, Ohio,
U.S. census. We have a ship record with a Masters on it who landed
in Pennsylvania in 1682, but we have not been able to connect any earlier
than 1850, so we are printing what we have and maybe someone in the future
will work and find the one who came over. James' parents were born
in Pennsylvania.
