MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Creamy Garlic Sauce -v
 Categories: Ornish, Vegetarian, Sauces
      Yield: 1 cup
 
     15    Garlic cloves;peeled & whole
  1 1/2 c  ;water
      1 pn Sage, dried
      1 pn Thyme, dried
    1/2    Lemon, juice of
      2 tb Wine, white dry
      2 tb Parsley, fresh; chopped
           ;pepper, fresh ground
 
  :       Combine the garlic, water, sage and thyme in a saucepan and
  simmer, uncovered for 30 - 40 minutes. Remove from the heat and puree
  in a blender until smooth. Add the lemon juice and white wine. Return
  to the saucepan and stir in the parsley and freshly ground pepper to
  taste. Heat thoroughly over very low heat.
  :       Don't be alarmed by all the garlic used in this. As it
  simmers, it looses its harsh flavor. This sauce goes well with mashed
  potatoes, cauliflower and green vegetables. It can be frozen and will
  keep 3 days in the refrigerator.
