      Title: Russian Sauerkraut Soup
 Categories: Mcdougall, Soup
      Yield: 4 servings
 
     15 oz Tomato puree
      8 c  Vegetable broth
      1    Onion; chopped fine
      2    Turnips; peeled & cubed
      3    Carrots; peeled & chopped
      1 ts Caraway seeds
           ;salt & pepper to taste
     16 oz Sauerkraut; can or jar
 
  Place all the ingredients in a large covered pot and bring to a boil.
  Reduce heat and cook for 1 hour. Serve hot with fresh bread.
