To any Minister of Gospel having the Care of Souls, or any Justice of the
Peace of said County---Greetings:
You, or either of you, are hereby authorized to solemnize
the Rites of Matrimony between

and Sophrona Gray

Know all Men, That we, Charles Wasburn & Georgi Allen
of the County of Cocke, and the State of Tennessee, are
held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee, in
the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to which
payment well and truely to be made, we bind our said
executors and administrators, and each and every one of
us and then, both jointly and severally, firmly by
these presents.
The Conditions of the above Obligation is such, That whereas. Charles Washburn hath prayed and obtained License
to marry Sophronaa Gray
Now if there shall not hereafter appear any laawful cause
why the said Charles Washburn and Sophrona Gray should not
be joined together in Holy Maatrimony as Husband and Wife,
then this obligation to be void and no effect; otherwise
to remain in full force and virtue.
