TAKES TWO

It takes two to make a quarrel
Two to make a fight
One can hardly do it
When mind has taken flight
Yet two can be as one
Harmony fill the air
Each can love the other
When the Saviour's there

THEN I KNOW

When the mockingbird sings its lovely song,
Then I listen.
Various notes fill the air,
And it seems so free from care,
So I listen.

When a lilac spreads its fragrance far and wide,
Then I smell.
It gives off sweetest scent,
Though the odor soon is spent.
So I smell.

When a fir tree grows so ever green and tall,
Then I view,
As it points me to the sky,
I know the Creator's nigh,
So I view.

When I think upon the glory of it all,
Then I know.
As I ponder nature's store,
It can thrill me to the core,
So I know.
