FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE
Victory comes to those whose fight
Is against all sin in the darkest night.
In the midst of heat we make our choice
To listen to self or the "still, small voice."
Victory comes when our Captain leads
Through the heat of war, for He knows our needs.
The fight is His, and the Lord alone
Has the right to claim the victor's throne.
As He helps us win and removes sin's stain,
Our minds and hearts are the Lord's domain.
The time will come when the war is through,
We'll reign with Him in the earth made new.
Yet, until Christ comes we need to fight
And keep ourselves on the side of right.
Though faith alone will see us through,
The proof of faith is in what we do.
Jesus wins, but the fight is man's.
The Spirit's power is what God plans
To strengthen us in our fight for life.
Then soon Christ comes and ends all strife.
So we must have faith and we must be strong,
And fight our way through the sinful throng
Of our evil bends and our sinful ways.
Then we'll live pure lives through eternal days.

MOTIVE FOR SERVICE
To serve my Lord completely, to only do His will,
To live within His presence, with Him my being fill,
To vindicate His causes, to prove His way is best,
To exemplify His goodness, His joy, His peace, His rest--
This is my only duty, this is my only call,
To tell al those around me of Him who loves us all.
To lead them straight to Jesus, who knows their every need,
To follow in His footsteps and from His word to feed.
To let them know the angels still minister to man,
As we ask with longing, they show redemption's plan.
I then will tell of power God grants to those who long
For righteousness from Jesus, to whom they now belong.
And through His Holy Spirit, they learn themselves to read,
To obey each word He gives us, His voice to always heed.
Now, I need the Holy Spirit to teach me what I am,
To give me grace to overcome the selfishness within.
To reflect my Saviour's likeness, to know I'm in His grace,
To stay within His circle and see His loving face--
Then He can give me power and all else I may need
To spread His truth to others and harvest golden seed.

ALL GOOD THINGS
All good things come from God
no matter what men say
the kindly word
the tender deed
the yearning
when we pray
All good things come from God
even though times are tough
courage and strength
hope and joy
the peace that comes
thru love
All good things come thru God
He speaks to us today
the thoughts of love
the friendly hugs
are prompted
when we pray
