GENE AUTRY, OK
One of the most incredible places
this small town girl has ever been!!!

Charlotte singing on the auditorium stage
at the Gene Autry Festival, Gene Autry, OK
Sept 29 - Oct 2, 2005
This picture reflects exactly how I felt
the entire time I was in Gene Autry, Oklahoma...
Extremely honored to be a participant...
A VERY BIG THANK YOU to the town of Gene Autry
and all of the good folks who work so hard to make this
festival a MAJOR success...

Believe it or not... I am the FIRST singing 'Autry' to
participate in the 15 years of this lovely celebration!!!
I was extremely shocked, I was just sure there
were many more of us carrying on the legacy!!
Holly George-Warren,
Author of the Official Gene Autry Biography
due out in 2007 to commemorate
the celebration of Gene's 100th birthday!!

Holly, I enjoyed meeting you, God Bless You and all of your hard work!!
This particular panel discussion was one I couldn't miss:
l to r: Maxine Hansen with Gene Autry Entertainment, Studio City, CA,
Holly George-Warren, and Gerald Autry, cousin to Gene Autry and to myself!!!

My cousin, Gerald Autry - I enjoyed every minute that I spent
with this man - of course we had alot to talk about
and had some 'belly busting' laughs over
some of our common 'Autry' traits...

My good buddy Bruce Dillman
Thank you and God Bless You Kind Sir!!!

What an honor to hear Mr. Clare Creviston sing
with a 'smooth as silk' voice!!!
Charlotte and
Ms. Janet McBride, The Yodeling Queen!!!
During the festival, Ms. Janet was a 'busy-as-a-bee' multi-tasker
I would pass her coming and going in between buildings
First I saw her headed to teach a Yodeling Seminar
Then I would see her off to emcee on the Museum Stage,
then pass her on her way back to do a show in the Tumbleweed Auditorium
It was such a joy getting to know her, and hearing her great voice,
I couldn't help but be incredibly inspired by her very presence...
(YEP, AND I learned to Yodel from the Yodeling Queen)
Thanks Ms. Janet, What a precious new friend I
have found in you.... I am working on my
yodeling skills as we speak!!!
And would you believe, folks from my home town...
Yea, actually I would, AND they have known my family for years,
since I was just a little girl....
