308. Elcanah⁵ Flanery (James⁴, Silas Seiver³, Silas², Thomas¹) was born circa 1842. Elcanah died January 21, 1867 at 24 years of age.⁽⁹⁾

He married Amanda Mainous in Travelers Rest, Owsley Co. KY, January 20, 1860. Amanda was born August 21, 1841 in Jonesville, Lee Co. Va.. Amanda was the daughter of Lazarus Lawson Mainous and Rebecca Amanda Flanery. Amanda died January 01, 1918 in Travelers Rest, Owsley Co. KY, at 76 years of age.

Elcanah Flanery and Amanda Mainous had the following children:

+ 453 i. Mary Rebecca⁶ Flanery was born January 02, 1861.

454 ii. J.R. Flanery was born September 06, 1862. J.R. died April 15, 1930.

+ 455 iii. Sarah Elizabeth (Sally) Flanery was born March 15, 1863.

+ 456 iv. Robert Preston Flanery was born January 1, 1865.
