Glossary of Terms

Health Guarantee: All animals sold by Honey Bunny Rabbit Ranch and Luv-a-lot Farms and legal representatives, hereinafter referred to as seller, come with a two week or 14 day health guarantee. This guarantee states that at the time of sale, the animal is healthy and disease free. Should the animal develop an illness that is not a direct result of negligence or abuse while in the care of the purchaser, the seller will replace the animal with another animal of equal or greater quality in the seller's opinion within a 90 day time period of notification of death/illness. If the distance between buyer and seller is in excess of 250 miles, the purchase price will be refunded instead.

Show quality animal: A show quality animal is one that has undergone a thorough inspection and found to be free of disqualifications at the time of sale. It is also recommended that the buyer conduct their own inspection of animal prior to purchase . If a disqualification is found that is definitively a genetic fault after purchase, thus rendering the animal non-showable, the seller reserves the right to inspect the animal and replace the animal with one of the seller's own choosing. A genetic fault includes the following: maloclussion, eye spots, wrong eye color, split penis, missing testicles, unrecognized variety,or an ear length which exceeds the standard of perfection. Disqualifications which are NOT considered genetic faults include but are not limited to: white toenails due to injuries, missing toenails, cracked or broken teeth, torn ears, and foreign colored spots.

Brood Quality animal: A brood quality animal is an animal who is free of disqualifications except that of oversize. A brood animal is an animal who does not carry the dwarfing gene and therefore will exceed the weight and ear requirements of the Standard of Perfection. The animal will be free of all other disqualifications unless stated in writing and signed by both the seller and buyer.

Trio: Unlike many of our counterparts, we do not sell animals as part of a trio EXCEPT as a breeding trio. A trio will consist of 2 does and one buck. One of the does may be a brood quality animal but there will be one doe and one buck who are show quality animals.

Shipping/Handling: We do offer shipping but it is done C.O.D. and the buyer must make the arrangements themselves. We charge an extra fee for shipping of $50 to cover health certificates, carriers, and gas. This fee is above and beyond that charged by the airlines or the price of the animal. This fee plus the purchase price must be received prior to shipping.

Service: Honey Bunny Rabbit Ranch and Luv-a-Lot Farms reserves the absolute right to refuse to do business with anyone.

Payment: We accept any and all PayPal payments for our animals - this includes credit cards. Checks are also accepted although it may delay receipt of pedigrees. E-mail us at rabbitrancher@hotmail.com for information on where to send the payment.
