NAGLER'S DOBERMANS TRIBUTE TO

COOKIE

NAGLER'S MADE FRESH DAILY

Sire: Shalimar's Orion
Dam: Nagler's Fire On Ice

Born, February 2, 1989
Died, November 6, 1998

COOKIE passed away suddenly on November 6th, 1998. The cause of death was determined to be a blood clot which blocked her heart valves. She was Echo-Cardio clear and the only reason her heart stopped beating was because of a blocked valve.

COOKIE had a bit of a show career, but she really hated going into the ring. She was AKC pointed and we just stopped showing her because we felt she should not be forced to do something she hated so much.

COOKIE was also never sick a day in her life....for which we are grateful.

It is hard when you lose someone you love suddenly.....but in the aftermath, what would you have wished for?......a long illness that caused them distress?

Nagler's is glad that if it was COOKIE'S time, The Lord took her to him quickly.

We will sadly miss her here at NAGLER'S DOBERMANS

COOKIE left us with a great legacy and some wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren

A Dear friend of mine wrote this when she heard the sad news about Cookie. I'd like to share it with you

COOKIE'S SONG

You held me in your arms moments after my birth and gave me almost 10 wonderful years of joy and happiness.
Our time together was special to me...full of good times, fun times, and pleasant memories.
We cared deeply for each other, always there for one another through thick and thin...good times and hard times. Luckily for both of us, we had more good times than hard times.

My life's race has now been run and I must leave you for a time and join those at the Ranbow Bridge who have gone there before me.
I'm going to be playing in the green grass of that meadow.
This is where I will patiently wait for the day you join me and we can continue our journey once more.

Grieve for me, my Special Friend...but don't grieve too long. We had our lives together here on Earth and we've both been blessed for knowing each other.

One day we WILL be together again and it will be forever.
Sad as you may be now at my leaving, be assured that one day this too shall pass and you will have happy and fond memories of me and the times we have spent together.

Remember me with a gentle hand whenever you stroke my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildrens fur.
Remember me kindly whenever you hold one of these babies in your arms as they lay on the couch snuggling with you.
One day, when the tears have past, think of me often with a smile on your face and love in your heart.
Remember me whenever you see the sun shine or a white fluffy cloud pass overhead because I am an angel now. I will always be watching over you and taking care of you. I'll be walking side by side with you every single moment as you continue your life's journey.

One day, when your race is done, I will greet you at The Rainbow Bridge with the rest of the family and a joyful barking will be heard throughout the Heavens for we will then be together for an eternity!!
