The Labrador is considered by many to be the most perfect pet. It required minimal grooming, and is extremely friendly. Because of that, it is not considered to be an effective guard dog. The Labrador loves children and is very patient with them.The Labrador weighs in at 55-75 pounds the norm. This wonderful breed is very active, and loves to play with children. The Lab comes in three colors: chocolate, black, and yellow.
