Columbia County Library-Harlem Branch / Walton Library
The library is open for the use of all Harlem residents. We also need the residents of Harlem to contribute to maintaining a high level of service. You can help by becoming a Harlem supporter of Walton Library.
The Harlem Supporters of Walton Library have the following goals:
- To maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries.
- To promote good reading habits.
- To focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs.
- To stimulate gifts of books, magazines, videos, desirable collections, endowments and bequests to the Harlem Library.
As a supporter you can help by:
- Sharing your knowledge and abilities.
- Using your library.
- Planning activities.
- Promoting your library to others.
- Organizing and giving programs.
- Raising funds for activities and programs.
- Teaming up with the library staff.
- Educating yourself and your family.
- Raising community awareness.
