Robert Mayton to John Elmore Mayton

This indenture this twenty second day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand seven Hundred & ninety five between Robert Mayton of the county of Wake & state of N Carolina of the One part and John Elmore Mayton of the County & state Aforesaid of the Other part Hitnepeth ? that the Robert Mayton doth for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars paid to him in said paid by this John Elmore Mayton the bought here of acknowledgeed of himself fully satasified hath given granted bargained sold & confirmed and by their presents doth gives grant bargin and confirme unto this John Elmore Mayton one certain tract or parcel of land containing fifty acres lying in the county of Wake on the head of the Grindstone Branch being part of the tract where the said Robert Mayton now lives. Beginning at a Willow Oak in the fongea branch in Mayton Thompsons line thence West One Hundred & nine poles to a Blackjack thence N 74 pole, to a post Oak thence East 109 Poles to a Blackjack thence to the beginning with every part & parcel  & all appurtences thereunto belonging on that in any wise appertains to land to have and to hold the John Elmore Mayton his heirs and asigns forever & this Robert Mayton his heirs Executors administrators and af****s doth covenant and agree to and with the John Elmore Mayton that himself his heirs executord administrators & assignee may forever have hold Pop** & enjoy the land without any hindrence or molestation & clear of all incumberance and that this deed in good valid to all intents and purposes and the Robert Mayton doth agree to warrant & forever defend this land against the lawful claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever in testamont hereof he hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day and year first above written.

Williamson Page to Jas. E. Mayton

This indenture made the Seventeenth day of May in the year of out Lord one thousand eight hundred forty nine Between Williamson Page of the county of Wake in the State of North Carolina of the one part and Jas E Mayton of the county of Wake and state aforesaid of the other part. Witness that the said Willimson Page for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ninety eight dollars and Seventy five cents to him in hand paid by the said Jas E. Mayton the Receipt whereof the said Williamson Page doth hereby acknowledge hath given Granted bargained and sold aliened and confirmed by there presents doth give grant bargin and sell alien and confirm unto the said Jas E. Mayton his heirs and asignee forever all that tract of land situated lying and being in the county of Wake aforsaid and bounded as follows beginning at a Spanish Oak Richard Georges line Running South Eighty single poles to a pine So Georges corner thence East one hundred and two pos to a stake and painter thence South ninety one half poles to a pine stump and dogwood Robert Adams corner thence East ninety four & one half poles to Large pine So Adams corner thence north one hundred and Seventy seven and a half poles to painter thence West one hundred and ninety Six and one half poles to the first Station the mill post and to be  Kept open containing by ***vry Surity one hundred and fifty nine acred and one hundred and five poles being the same more or less and also all the wood waters and all the appartenses thereupon belonging as in any wise? apperaining and the Reverseon? and Reverseon? remainder and Remainder Route Johner and profits of the aforesaid land and premiser and Emery part thereof and all the Estate Rights with interest claims property and demand whatsa** of the said Williamson Page of in and to the lands and premises hereby granted to have and to hold the aforsaid lands premises with appartense unto the said Jas E. Mayton  his heirs and assignees to the only proper use and behalf of the said Williamson Page for himself and his heirs the aforsaid lands and premises and every part thereof against himself and his heirs and against the claim or claims of all and every other person whatsoever to the said Jas E. Mayton his heirs and assignees shall and *** Wa???? deffered by their presents in min* thereof the Williamson Page hath hereunto set his hand and offered ? this day and year aforesaid written
