SUDA REBECCA MAYTON Services Held Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. Suda Rebecca Mayton, 77 [80], were held Sunday afternoon in the Maxwell Funeral Parlor, Harriman, with the Rev. Pat Howard officiating, Burial was in Dyllis Cemetary. Mrs. Mayton, of 103 Hicks St. Clinton, died at 3:20 a.m. Friday in the Oak Ridge Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Adelia Minton, Clinton, and Mrs. Penny Smith, Pensacola, Fla. a son, James Mayton, Albany, Ga.; two grandchildren; one great grandchild. A native of Tennessee, Mr. Mayton had lived here for the last 12 years and was employed bt Orkin Exterminating Co. He was a member of Baptist Church. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Elsie Mayton, Ensley; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mayton, Pensacola; three brothers, Louis H., Edward W., and Donald F. Walnut Ave., died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a native of Tennessee but had lived in Ensley the last 14 years. Mr. Mayton was a member of the Walnut Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vida Lula Mayton of Ensley; Mrs. L.C. Carter, Mrs. Edith Chambers, Mrs. O.N.Walreaven, all of Pensacola, Mrs.Don King of Big Rapids, Mich. and Mrs. C.C.Noecker of Rochester, Minn.; two sons, Edward Wayne Mayton, and Donald Mayton, both of Pensacola; two sisters, Mrs.Grace Devaney and Miss. Smith, 54, of Rt.. 7, Milton, died Friday evening in a local hospital. Mrs.Smith was a native of Clinton [Harriman], Tenn. and had resided in Santa Rosa County for the past 14 years. Survivors include her widower, John A. Smith of Milton; one brother, James Mayton of Albany, Ga. and one sister, Mrs. Dee Minton of Clinton, Tenn. Funeral srevices will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Helms Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.Ben H. Cooley officiating. Burial will be in the Serentiy Gardens Cemetary with Helms Funeral Home directing. The body will be placed in the chapel 9 a.m.Sunday. Pallbearers will be C.O. Leepard, Jim Beckjorden, Larry Pearson, Albert L. Pearson, Jimmy Parkerson and Harvell Enfinger. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Woodrow Nance of Tazewell; brother, James Mayton of Albany, Ga.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
