16 Sep 1844 -- Deed Book 17, page 247 John Snodgrass & Leah (Robinson - SD) his wife and Jacob Minton & Sarah his wife of Lee Co., and William Widener & Phebe his wife, Elizabeth Snodgrass, and Margaret Snodgrass of Washington Co. to William Snodgrass of Washington Co...$100... all their claim to and interest in the tract of land of which James Snodgrass deceased died seized and possessed and bearing dates by patents one dated 26 Mar 1802 and bounded as follows, Beginning at a white oak corner to Samuel Edmondsons land and with a line of the same N 46 E 110 poles crossing a branch to 2 white oaks and a small gum corner to David Robinsons land and with a line of the same S 2 E 70 poles to a bach and white oak by a branch thence up the branch S 21 E 50 poles to two beeches in a line of John Edmondsons land and with the same S 86 W 14 poles to a stake on a line of Joseph Redshaws land and with the same N 78 W 106 poles to a white oak and dogwood thence N 29 E 3 poles to the Beginning. The other bearing date 22 Aug 1798 and bounded as follows Beginning at 2 white oaks and maple thence N 42 W 82 poles to a maple and white oak in Samuel Edmondsons line and near the same S 55 W 29 poles to a gum and 2 white oaks on a ridge S 5 E 70 poles to a white oak and beech on a branch S 43 E 46 poles to 2 beeches on a branch N 69 E 114 poles to a stake N 74 W 72 poles to the beginning ...
