etter from John H Dillingham of
Philadelphia 4 mo 6 1895 to Dean Dudley "The only brother of
my grandfather Joseph that I have heard of was Edward, who moved
from W. Falmouth to Maine; perhaps to St Albans, as his children
had homes there." From John H Dillingham 4 month 16 1895 to
Dean Dudly: "I have heard an old West Falmouth resident say
that the day my great uncle Edward was to have sailed with his
family for Maine the wind was unfavorable and so he loaded and
hauled away 23 loads of manure. His sons James, Nathan and Allen
and daughter Mary Ann (perhaps there were other children) had
their early home in St Albans. I knew Nathan, lived for a time
with Allen when he was a dentist in Cambridge (now gone to
California) and frequently saw Mary Ann after her marriage with
Barnabas Holway in Sandwich." From A W Dillingham, in Dudleys
