1723; d. shortly before Sep 1747, when Nathaniel Hubbard, Esq.,
Judge of Probate for Bristol County, appointed "Sealed
Landers of Harwich, County Barnstable, clothier"
administrator of the estate of "your brother Jabez Landers,
late of Dartmouth, County Bristol, cordwainer... lately died
intestate" (Bristol County Probates 11:325/6). We find no
record that this man had children, but Mary Landers of Dartmouth
died intestate before 2 Nov 1756, when Jireh Swift of Dartmouth
was appointed administrator. This may have been the widow of
Jabez, who seems to be the only Landers to have lived in
