athew was a soldier in the Revolutionary
War and was granted land in Vermont for his service. He and Betsy
lived in Vermont till 1813 when he moved his family to
Pennsylvania. David Long in his family record said that he
visited this family in Shager Creek Penn. in 1820. Today no town
