EL, to Shelburne, N.S., when the British
evacuated the great ports of Boston and New York in 1783. He
abandoned his first wife in Sandwich, and remarried. Two children
born in Canada by his second wife returned to Sandwich, and in
1850 were the only Perrys living there that were not descended
