This is one of my early French-Canadian lines. Robert was the founder of the first Canadian Caron family. He came from France to Canada in 1634. He married Marie Crevet in the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Recouvrance in Quebec on 25 October 1637. Robert died in July of 1656 and on 27 July 1666 Marie remarried to Noel Langlois, widower of Francoise Grenier.

Marie and Robert Caron had children:

1. Marie born 1639 married Jean Picard in 1656
2. Jean-Baptiste born 1641 married Marguerite Gagnon in 1661
3. Robert born 1647 married Marguerite Cloutier
4. Catherine born 1649 married first Jacques Dodier and second Pierre Dupre
5. Joseph born 1652 married Elisabeth Bernier
6. Pierre born 1654 married Marie Bernier
7. Aimee born 1656 married Noel Langlois dit Traversy
