Willem Hindriks Toren who died in February of 1811 in the Netherlands.
He married Hindrikje Klasens.
The only known child of Willem and Hindrikje was Hindrik Willems Toren.
He was born 20 May 1797 at Ulrum, Groningen, Netherlands.
On 1 Dec 1822, he married Remke Roelfs Boersema in Ulrum.
Only known child of Hindrik and Remke was Roelf (Ralph) who died 28 Feb 1878 in Spring Lake, Ottawa County, MI. He had married first Gretje Zomerlei in Leens, Groningen, Netherlands and second Clara Clover in Ottawa County, Michigan.
The last Toren/Torren in our line was Frances Torren, the daughter of the above mentioned Roelf/Ralph and Gretje Torren. Her given name is believed to have been Remke or Reinke but she became Frances in the United States. She was born 10 Dec 1855 in the Netherlands and arrived in America with her family on the ship Arnold Boninger in 1856.
Frances married Charles Martineau about 1878 in Michigan.
Frances died in 1932 in Ohio.
Frances had two sisters, Henrietta and Macky.
Henrietta married William "Will" GUILD about 1885. They had a daughter Vivian.
Vivian Guild married Jacob WAAKES.
